Nebraska

Nebraska AgrAbility shared its mission with thousands of visitors to Husker Harvest Days, the largest totally irrigated working farm show in the world. Grain safety display at Indiana State FairThe AgrAbility exhibit was interactive, low-to-high tech, and high touch.  Nebraska AgrAbility clients and peer group volunteers helped staff the exhibit.

The exhibit included a slide show highlighting clients using high-tech lifts to access their trucks, tractors, and combines and using other assistive devices on their land.  Large screen access gave attendees full view of AgrAbility in action.  FFA and 4-H students especially enjoyed discovering how to use the one-armed hammers and drill.  A client shared photos of the adaptations he designed and implemented.

The Nebraska AgrAbility Team accepted new referrals and strengthened relationships with current and past clients.  Visitors enjoyed relaxing in the "living room" area of the exhibit during the three-day, 80-acre show near Grand Island, Nebraska held September 15-17th
