California AgrAbility received $5,000 grant from FSA to conduct workshops throughout the state. The California Small Farm Conference had the largest attendance ever and several CalAgrAbility consumers received scholarships to attend.  CalAgrAbility invited Therese Willkhomm to conduct her McGyver workshop, which was standing-room-only.

Staff  were also invited to the beautiful Shasta area in north of the state to conduct workshops. They conducted a "rehabilitating farmers" mini-conference at Hill Top Health Center and a second one at Mayer Memorial Hospital.  The attendees were  a good mix of medical and health professionals, farmers, and agency staff..   Guest speakers were invited from Farmer Veteran Coalition, NRCS, and FSA.
