Four ergonomics workshops targeting migrant and seasonal farmworkers are planned in Indiana during April and May. These events are aimed at improving productivity and reducing injury risk, and are based on discussions with crew leaders regarding perceived risks for seasonal work crew injuries. They will be presented by ergonomist Rob Stuthridge. Target audience includes growers and crew leaders. They are organized through Purdue Extension offices and are being run in partnership with Transition Resources Corporation.
