CalAgrAbility and the Arthritis Foundation conducted two successful 3-day Leader Workshops in both Spanish and English.  Training was provided to over 40-50 new rural arthritis leaders who will begin conducting  6-week self-help "farming with arthritis" classes in farming regions this summer. The Spanish group was introduced to the Fotonovela de Artritis.

CA AgrAbility staff participated in the "Examining Challenges and Successes of Reaching Out to Male Farmworkers" conference.   This May they  also participated in the Campus to Community Health Conference in Portland, OR and shared program materials and papers with various program staff throughout the nation.
