The Oklahoma AgrAbility Project hosted a conference titled “Rehabilitating Oklahoma Farmers and Ranchers” from October 8-9, 2010. The workshop focused on developing cultural competence and assessment skills necessary to work with farmers and ranchers with physical impairments and disabilities who want to remain in agriculture. Fifty-one rehabilitation professionals (PT’s, OT’s & Rehab Counselors) took part in the conference held at the Seretean Wellness Center on the Oklahoma State University Stillwater campus.
