CalAgrAbility and the California Foundation for Independent Living Centers have been collaborating on conducting training workshops for all AT Advocate Managers in California. So far the team has done a "CalAgrAbility Rehabilitating..." workshop for northern California managers, which was held in Berkeley, CA in March. CalAgrAbility is planning a southern state workshop in the summer. In addition, California Migrant Education has requested "Rehabilitating" Spanish-language workshops to be held in several locations in the north. In March, CalAgrAbility conducted the first of this series for farm employees in Butte County. Requests for 2 others will be scheduled for April or May.

The Team also traveled to the Central Coast to conduct a 3-hour educational in-service training for Puente staff in March. Puente is the only community resource center for the South Coast, and it serves farm families living in the rural San Mateo South Coast communities of Pescadero, La Honda, Loma Mar, and San Gregorio.

Several CalAg consumers were awarded scholarships to attend the 21st Annual California Small Farm Conference held in San Jose in March. They have reported what a great opportunity it was and that they hope to attend in the future. The conference included classroom-style training as well as on-site, hands-on workshops on California farms.
