The Indiana AgrAbility Project/Breaking New Ground participated in the Purdue University Spring Fest on April 9, 2011. The exhibit included the Life Essentials lift and the outdoor BNG display. Brochures and resource lists were distributed to many of the over 20,000 visitors for the university-wide event. After a rainy beginning, the lift was busy from 10:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Purdue Safety and Health also distributed safety coloring books to children riding pedal tractors around a straw-lined course.
