CalAgrAbility was also represented at the local RISE Collaborative meeting in Esparto where upcoming Harvest festival events were discussed. CalAgrAbility is also coordinating work with the Esparto Family Practice Community Health Workers in organizing a Diabetes Education Group to speak to farming communities about chronic disease. Along with this , CalAgrAbility works with the Woodland Health Center as they hold chronic disease classes several times a week.


Outreach staff delivered a "Rehabilitating Farmers" program to the CA Rural Legal Assistance Office in Marysville, California. They are often a critical link for farmers in getting assistance in appealing VR and workers compensation cases. They also deliver a full education program for low-resource rural residents.


The El Dorado County Health Fair was held in September, where CalAgrAbility staffed a booth and identified several potential consumers. CalAgrAbility attended the Capay Valley Grape Festival, a big event that brings together locals and growers from surrounding towns.
