Lamoille Country Field DaysAs mentioned in the September e-Note, Ed Butterfass was a long time supporter and participant of the Minnesota AgrAbility Project. He was honored and remembered at the Minnesota State Council on Disability, MSCOD, annual award lunch on September 27, 2011 for his contributions to the disability community with special note of his active participation working with the Minnesota AgrAbility Project.

Carol Fury, Minnesota AgrAbility staff member, provided training at the National Rehabilitation Services Administration Conference on Alternative Finance and Access to Telework Programs held in Berkeley California at the new accessible Edward Roberts Center on campus. A portion of the training included how AgrAbility participants have utilized the loan programs to purchase adaptive equipment needed for continued operation of their agriculture operation following injury, illness, or disabling medical conditions. Several farmers have used EquipALife’s loan programs to help them resolve funding issues.
