Coit Custer, AgrAbility specialist, and Ron Jester, project director, just completed a two day partnership tour in Maryland. This was an opportunity to nurture existing partnerships and also develop new ones. Time was spent on partners supporting outreach, education, and assistance goals. Partners visited included Maryland Farm Bureau, Maryland Department of Agriculture, Johns Hopkins, National Rehabilitation Hospital, Naval Hospital at Bethesda, Mental Health Association, Maryland TAP, and several Extension offices. Strengthening partnerships is a way to reach more farmers and provide greater and more comprehensive assistance to clients.
