Following a huge turnout at Husker Harvest, staff have visited smaller communities to promote AgrAbility. Sharry Nielsen staffed a booth at the Franklin County Health Fair and will be at the Fillmore County Health Fair in November. The focus for this year’s promotions has been Agriculture and Arthritis, reaching a different audience than traditional exhibits attract.
Nebraska AgrAbility is on Facebook. After a few pilot tests, Del Ficke, rural rehabilitation specialist, has been posting items of interest for AgrAbility clients and professionals.
