Rod Peterson staffed a booth jointly with Nebraska Department of Agriculture at the Buffalo Bill Farm & Ranch Expo in North Platte. Although attendance was down a little at the Expo, Rod was able to make contacts with several people in the west central part of the state. Rod also presented the AgrAbility story at the Kearney/Franklin Cattlemen's Association and Century 21 district meeting, reaching about 65 folks.
The Nebraska AgrAbility Advisory Committee met, with Del Ficke spearheading the discussion. A local vendor, Advanced Mobility Solutions, was on hand to demonstrate a lift they constructed for a client. Valuable input into the program and some great networking resulted from the gathering. The Nebraska team will meet next month to start putting some of the suggestions into action.
Women in Ag, a major conference for farm women in Nebraska, was the setting for an exhibit staffed by Sharry Nielsen. Over 325 registered for the conference, which offered many valuable contacts.
