Steve Swain, rural rehabilitation specialist for Breaking New Ground/Indiana AgrAbility, presented to seven of the twenty-five Vocational Rehabilitation offices in Indiana in September. Other offices are either scheduled or in the process of scheduling. The presentation includes the history of BNG and AgrAbility, services to VR, publications and resources available, and a question and answer period on how BNG can better serve VR.
The Indiana AgrAbility Project exhibited at the 2012 Farm Safety Forum sponsored by the Indiana Health and Safety Council. The display included publications, News Notes, a popup display, and Veterans and Agriculture Workshop save-the-date cards. Project staff took part in the forum as well as staffed the display.
