CalAgrAbility made a connection with One Sight, which helps uninsured and low-income individuals obtain free eye exams and free eyeglasses through partner organizations, such as Sears Optical and LensCrafters. They helped two CalAg consumers obtain free eye exams and free eyeglasses. The only requirement is that the consumer must be referred by a non-profit agency. Thanks to One Sight and LensCrafters, CalAgrAbility has been able to get free eye exams and free eyeglasses for several low-vision farmers and will continue to work with this wonderful resource.

CalAg also connected with Global Health Discounts Inc. to obtain a low cost MRI for a farmer. Global Health Discounts Inc. helps people with no insurance or high deductibles obtain the lowest imaging center self-pay, cash prices. They partner with several imagining centers in the United States and help consumers find the lowest prices in their area. CalAgrAbility was able to help a farmer in the Yuba City area get an MRI in Chico for $340 instead of $1,200. This is a great resource for those who need to get MRI or CT scans and don't have medical insurance.
