CalAgrAbility was honored by the Greater Sacramento Pacific Region Arthritis Foundation at their Annual annual Partner Appreciation Dinner for conducting arthritis outreach to the Latino farming community as well as to other rural residents. Others honored at the dinner were volunteers, advocates, board members, and members of the community living with arthritis who have helped raise awareness.

CalAg staff were asked to do a presentation at the Northern Regional Assistive Technology Annual In-Person Conference. In addition, CalAg conducted a Farming and Gardening with Injuries and Disabilities workshop at this meeting in Sacramento. Attendees included AT advocates from California Centers for Independent Living and Resources for Independent Living Centers, as well as occupational and physical therapists from Berkeley, San Francisco, Salinas, Chico, Placerville, Napa, and Sacramento.

Staff completed the last 2012 Spanish language land exercise class in the Keep Moving Arthritis Prevention and Pain Management series at Clinica Tepati in Sacramento. Participants included farm family members ages 11 to 74. At least two participants, mother and daughter, have been attending the exercise classes consecutively for the past 7 months. CalAg staff encouraged participants to establish a daily exercise routine to help with arthritis pain management.
