National AgrAbility Project

Registration is open for the 2013 AgrAbility National Training Workshop. Early bird registration will be open until March 15; online registration will close on April 5. There will be no onsite registration. Click here for a list of the registration fees. You may register online or choose to print a pdf registration form from this site to mail in with your payment. The 2013 AgrAbility National Training Workshop will be held on April 8-11 at the Doubletree Minneapolis-Bloomington South Hotel in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Reservations can be made by phone at 952-835-7800 or online through the AgrAbility NTW reservation website. If you makeyour reservation by phone, please make sure you mention that you are with the AgrAbility National Training Workshop to guarantee the conference rate of $121 per night. Book your room by March 29 at this rate.


NTW farmer/rancher scholarship applications are due by February 22. Forms have been sent out to all of the SRAPs and are posted on the NTW conference website. Contact Kylie Hendress at khendres@purdue.edu for more information.


Remember to get your proposals in to host the 2014 National Training Workshop by March 15. March and April are popular months for conferences so the hotels seem to book up pretty early. Please send them to Kylie Hendress, khendres@purdue.edu.

Amber Wolfe, Arthritis Foundation, and Linda Bokros, Kentucky AgrAbility, staffed a display at the American Farm Bureau's annual convention January 12-14 in Nashville, TN. Over 8,000 Farm Bureau members and guests were in attendance at the convention.


Amber Wolfe facilitated a phone conversation and participated in a webinar regarding the advocacy efforts of the national Arthritis Foundation. She provided information on the NAP to the AF advocacy team for their use in promotion and recruitment efforts.
