Breaking New Ground/Indiana AgrAbility exhibited and participated in the 1st Annual Purdue Extension Indiana Small Farm Conference, held March 1-2 at the Hendricks County Fairgrounds in Danville, Indiana. Twenty-seven exhibitors displayed a wide array of products and services. Dr. Field led a discussion on "Small Farm Perils: Developing a Safe Culture on a Small Farm." Steve Swain staffed the display as well as moderated two sessions in the Small Farm Management track. Attendance at this inaugural conference exceeded 300.

Amber Wolfe and Roberta Schweitzer, IN AgrAbility consultant, hosted a two-day Mental Health First Aid training course in Frankfort, IN on Feb. 7-8. The course provided 12 hours of approved instruction from the Mental Health First Aid Association and 13 of the attendees earned full or partial training course hour credits.
Amber Wolfe presented a two-hour arthritis workshop to the Area Agency on Aging in Fort Wayne, IN on February 28. There were 42 case managers in attendance.

During the last month, Carl Jenkins attended and set up displays at three Soil and Water Conservation meetings. He also worked at the Farm Machinery Show in Louisville.
