NC AgrAbility had a featured display and presenter at several conferences and meetings in the month of March. Project Coordinator Michele Proctor and partner from the NC Agromedicine Institute Robin Tutor-Marcom were presenters at the first annual NC Farm Bureau Safety Conference in Greensboro, NC March 12-13. Proctor gave an 'Intro to AgrAbility' presentation to 4 different rotating groups on the first day. On the second day, NC AgrAbility was part of a vendor expo. Approximately 150 people attended, representing all NC Farm Bureau districts.
NC AgrAbility was a featured display at the Duplin County Commissioner's meeting on March 4. Duplin and neighboring Sampson County are North Carolina's two top producing agricultural counties. NC AgrAbility has done multiple presentations in these counties and NC AgrAbility staff are proud to be part of the Duplin County Cooperative Extension's report to the commissioners. Two other presentations were made in these counties in March, including the Murphy-Brown Vendor Expo, the largest vendor expo in the Eastern part of the state held bi-annually.
