Nebraska AgrAbility peers met for an update and networking session in March. Peers learned about activities and services of the project in 2012, and staff learned about what was happening in agriculture and in the lives of peers. Nancy Frecks coordinated the event and led discussion during the day. Suggestions for Peer activities through 2013 and into the next year were discussed.
Sharry Nielsen used the materials developed by graduate student Anna Lewandowski, OT, at a Discovery Night for 4-H youth. The display and talk were based on the lesson, "Stretch B4U Go!" Youngsters learned about doing stretches for all body muscles before starting activities like running, soccer, and softball. About 50 youth and as many parents visited the booth.
