A new two day workshop was held in Tifton to train Vocational Rehabilitation counselors about farm culture and what it means to farmers to stay in the occupation they love and how farming can be an opportunity for a new career for someone with a disability. This workshop had a full day of learning inside the classroom as well as a full day of farm tours. VR counselors had the opportunity to experience farm life on a dairy, row crop, and strawberry farm.
