Maine AgrAbility organized and participated in a report writing workshop to develop a new template for the agricultural assessment report. AgrAbility team members and the VR partner participated. The goal was to produce a template and guidance document that would create an end product that would be useful and well received by the farmers and VR and be similar regardless of the author. A report template and protocol were established for the review and submittal process.
Maine had a great time at the NTW, bringing three AgrAbility staff, the VR liaison, and one Maine farmer. It was a valuable opportunity to network and share resources. Thanks to the NAP and MN for hosting this event.
Therese Willkomm conducted an "Assistive Technology and Farming with a Disability" workshop in Augusta, ME. Therese shared her ideas for quick adaptations and techniques for farmers using her MacGyver type approach. A fun day for all!
