The Gardening with Effective Arthritis Management webinar is now archived at agrability.org/Online-Training/archived. The webinar was very well received with attendance estimated at 85. Topics included garden modifications, adaptive tools, and understanding limits. Several videos were shown demonstrating both proper and improper use of the body and tools when gardening. The webinar was preceded by two television interviews with Amber and Steve on local Indiana news channels.
Amber Wolfe hosted the first conference call for the Arthritis Foundation's rural arthritis coalition, a group of AF staff interested in promoting arthritis awareness and hosting educational events specifically in the rural service areas covered by the Arthritis Foundation. The call was held on Tuesday, May 28 and had 13 of the 26 members on the call. The next call is scheduled for Tuesday, July 30 at 12:00 PM EDT.
