Indiana AgrAbility exhibited at the Indiana State FFA Convention June 17-20. In addition to hosting an AgrAbility display at the convention, Steve Swain announced the winners of the Bridging Horizons Community Service Contest and presented the winners with certificates and prize money sponsored by DuPont Pioneer.
The Bridging Horizons Community Service Contest first place was awarded to Carroll Fort Wayne FFA who designed and built a garden center for a local disability outreach center. Second place was awarded to Sullivan FFA who put in concrete walkways at their fairgrounds to make their outdoor area more accessible. Third place went to Jay County FFA who constructed a walkway at their school to make it easier for students and faculty to access their new vocational buildings that had previously only been accessible by walking through grass and gravel.
