Lani Carlson gave a presentation about the Maine AgrAbility Project and personal protective equipment (PPE) in coordination with John Deere in Presque Isle, Maine. The focus of the presentation was the importance of appropriate PPE during spray applications to protect the farmer and their families.
Maine AgrAbility staff is planning two half-day workshops with Amber Wolfe of the Arthritis Foundation in July. The talks will be about arthritis and production agriculture. The staff members are looking forward to having Amber share her expertise with Maine farmers and gardeners!
