Vermont

Vermont AgrAbility staff members Gail Lapierre and Bill Snow assisted in the launching of the new Accessibility Center at Empire Farm Days in Seneca Falls, New York. Bill Field of National AgrAbility Project also participated. The Accessibility Center was sponsored by Country Folks, a weekly newspaper dedicated to farming. The inspirational keynote speaker was Ed Bell. Ed shared how to have a more positive life, using the many hats to wear. Ed also demonstrated and represented the Standing Wheelchair and the LifeTrike. Also on display was the Action TrackChair. A teenage boy who uses a wheelchair transferred into the Action TrackChair and really had a wonderful time with it. His grin was from ear-to-ear. His father remarked, "with a wagon attached, he could feed the cows!"
