The 2013 West Virginia University Extension annual meeting united old friends and welcomed new faces to WVU Extension Service. The event also served as a launch to the year-long celebration of the 100th anniversary of Smith-Lever Act, which helped to establish Extension service organizations across the country. The Act allows WVU and West Virginia AgrAbility to provide trusted research and local experts in all 55 West Virginia counties.

The statewide annual Farm Bureau meeting was held in Flatwoods, West Virginia on November 8-10, 2013. Various legislative issues were discussed, and several members of the West Virginia AgrAbility staff attended the meeting. Shelly Moore Capito and Walt Helmick were speakers at different general sessions.

The WV AgrAbility partnership meeting was held in the Morgantown Safety and Health Extension office on November 12, 2013. Partners discussed the direction of AgrAbility through the grant continuation and the future.
