The Minnesota AgrAbility Project staff is busy making preparations for the 2014 Fence Line Conference being held March 16-17 2014, at the Holiday Inn and Suites, St. Cloud, Minnesota. The Fence Line Conference is an annual conference, and this conference might be the largest one to date. The theme for the 2014 conference is "Keeping the Family Farm Alive".
The Fence Line Conference is designed to provide resources for farmers with disabilities and their families, offering help in overcoming barriers resulting from an injury or debilitating illness.
The cornerstone of the conference is a peer support group networking opportunity with special topics and speakers during the two-day conference. Farmers with a disability can share their stories and learn from others how to overcome barriers while increasing productivity following an injury or illness.
