NC AgrAbility is getting geared up for a very busy show season. Project Coordinator Michele Proctor presented Work Smarter, Not Harder for cattlemen at the Montgomery County Annual Cattlemen's Banquet on January 14 to 52 producers in Troy, NC. NC AgrAbility shared information with the NC Young Farmers and Ranchers Annual Conference attendees on January 25, 2014 in Greensboro, NC.
NC AgrAbility will once again have an interactive booth at the 2014 Southern Farm Show in Raleigh, NC. Equipment and tools will be on hand for people to explore and try out. In addition, on February 18, the NC AgrAbility Advisory Board will meet in Clayton, NC, and on February 13-16, the project will participate in the NC Cattlemen's Annual Conference in Hickory NC.
On March 14, 2014, Dr. Mary Hildebrand with East Carolina University Occupational Therapy will be conducting training for medical professionals on the NC AgrAbility curriculum in Kannapolis, NC. Continuing education credits will be available. Please contact NC AgrAbility if interested in attending. More detailed information will be available in a few weeks.
