On April 10, 2014, Minnesota AgrAbility staff attended an all day workshop for Farmer Veterans at the Organic Field School located at the Gardens of Eagan in Eagan, Minnesota. The workshop was sponsored by the Farmer Veteran Coalition and the Drake University Agricultural Law Center. The workshop allowed participants to meet other farming veterans, network with farm business experts, and learn from experienced farmers.

The Minnesota AgrAbility staff is preparing to attend the 57th annual Invention Expo sponsored by the Minnesota Inventors Congress. The Minnesota Inventors Congress (MIC) is a non-profit corporation that has been assisting thousands of independent inventors throughout the United States for 56 years.
The Invention Expo will take place on Friday and Saturday, May 2-3, 2014 at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis. The MIC is the oldest annual, continuous running invention convention in the world. The Expo is designed to help inventors test market their products. The Minnesota AgrAbility staff participates in the MIC by judging the inventions and presenting three awards to inventors designing products for individuals with disabilities. The MN AgrAbility Project is committed to help recognize and promote specific inventions that will enhance the lives of those with disabilities.
