Steve Swain, Indiana AgrAbility rural rehabilitation specialist, and Paul Jones, Indiana AgrAbility project manager, presented a webinar with Indiana AgrAbility partner INDATA, the Indiana Technical Assistance Project, for Indiana Vocational Rehabilitation counselors. The presentation covered the history of Indiana AgrAbility/Breaking New Ground, the services offered to Vocational Rehabilitation, AgrAbility resources, and examples of agricultural assistive technology.
Indiana AgrAbility/Breaking New Ground held its semiannual advisory team meeting at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana, a collaborating partner of Indiana AgrAbility. Twenty-nine advisors, consumers, and staff members gathered to get updates from the team, review the work plan, tour the hospital, and meet and learn from Proteus, the National Farmworker Jobs Program grant holder for Indiana.
