Ohio AgrAbility staff attended the 36th annual two-day Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association conference held February 14 and 15 in Granville, Ohio. The sustainable agriculture conference theme was Sustainable Agriculture: Renewing Ohio's Heart and Soil. The conference offered a broad range of educational topics, and the OAP staff shared the AgrAbility message with a broad spectrum of agricultural professionals.
By invitation from the Ohio Department of Veterans Services, Ohio AgrAbility staff shared the Ohio AgrAbility message with military veterans who attended the Wilmington Veterans Resource Fair on Feb. 24, 2015. Military veterans in attendance served in all branches of service and represented every conflict from World War II through the current Middle East conflicts. Ohio AgrAbility staff was able to make a broad range of network connections and had multiple opportunities to make connections with military veterans/farmers who will be using our services.
