KY AgrAbility, along with KY Vocational Rehabilitation and UK's Human Development Institute, held the 12th Annual Summer Assistive Technology Workshop on June 17th and 18th. Approximately 100 attended each day. On the 18th the KY Spinal Cord Congress joined the AT Workshop with sessions that specifically related to problems for those with spinal cord injury. The AT Workshop continued with sessions on Disabled Veterans and Farming in Kentucky and the ever popular session on vehicle adaptations. KY AgrAbility demonstrated with hand controls and seated lift, a side entry skid steer and several modified trucks, vans, and cars. Several of the AgrAbility clients brought their modified vehicles to round out the session.
Kentucky AgrAbility will be presenting at the Association for Driver Rehabilitation Specialists Annual Conference. This year it will be held in Louisville, KY, at the Hyatt Regency.
