Ohio AgrAbility staff recently displayed and did presentations at three Amish functions. At the National Amish Health Conference: Addressing the Healthcare Needs of Amish and Plain Communities, approximately 75 community leaders and health care professionals attended. The next function was an Amish Farm Family Field Day with safety talks and demonstrations. Approximately 500 family members attended. The last function was the Holmes County Amish Health and Safety Day in Charm Ohio with about 1200 family members enjoying a health fair, safety demonstrations, and chicken dinner.
