Disability awareness was the topic for Rod Peterson, rural rehabilitation specialist, as he presented sessions for about 150 5th and 6th grade students at the Progressive Ag Foundation Safety Day in Beaver City the end of August. Rod invited AgrAbility client Troy Balderston and his P.H.A.R.M. dog, Duke, to help teach youth about farming/ranching with a disability and some of the barriers AgrAbility clients overcome.
