Pennsylvania AgrAbility staff and the Pennsylvania Office of Rural Health provided hands-on learning opportunities, AgrAbility information, and health screenings, at Penn State's Ag Progress Days.
Hands-on opportunities included learning about simple assistive technology by using RoboHandles, learning about back health and safety with Mr. Lifty, and searching for assistive technology and safety hazards on a model farm display. Guests could participate in free hearing screenings and stroke assessments, and learn about vision health, lymes disease, and the worker protection standard. AgrAbility staff visited with current and past clients and provided information to potential new clients.
