Vermont

Vermont is continuing its AgrAbility project, in spite of losing USDA funding. Vermont AgrAbility is realigning itself, and it will continue its services to farmers with disabilities through the Vermont Center for Independent Living. The nonprofit part of the grant is funding staff to continue farm assessments; the University of Vermont Extension service will continue to be a supporting partner through their numerous programs; George Cook will continue to supply farm safety programs; and Tom Younkman will continue doing farm assessments, and peer support.
