Colorado AgrAbility was an attendee and presenter at the VA medical center Jewell Vision Clinic Disability Expo. There were many vendors, clinicians, vocational rehabilitation counselors, and others from the local and regional disability community in attendance.
Two veteran clients of the Colorado AgrAbility Project made the news in Colorado Springs. These two vets, working with AgrAbility, set up and operate a vertical growing system producing custom basil and cilantro as well as micro-vegetables for many local restaurants. They are also assisting other local veteran's with internship opportunities.
Candy and Jim are just finishing up with an internship level-one experience for two excellent young ladies who are students in the Colorado State University occupational therapy program. They had the opportunity to observe on-site assessments and to experience the complete process from intake to final paperwork.
