Maine AgrAbility at Ag Trades showMaine AgrAbility staff and advisory council members spent three days at the 75th Annual Agricultural Trades ME AgrAbility at 75th Ag Trades showshow. The theme of the booth was 'Aging Farmers: What's your body telling you?' It proved to be a fun way to engage people in how agriculture impacts them - from reducing stress and feeling healthier to less strength and increased mobility issues. It also allowed staff to share information about AgrAbility and the many publications available for them to take home. There was even a visit from Kris Kringle!

Maine AgrAbility attended the 2016 Grow Maine Green Expo on January 20, 2016, the annual meeting for the Maine Landscape and Nursery Association and the Maine Arborist Association. Many connections were made during this event held in Augusta, and staff was able to share their newest example of gardening AT, the Stand'n Plant (https://www.pinterest.com/pin/370632244313376375/).

Maine AgrAbility booth at Potato ConferenceMaine AgrAbility had a booth at the two-day Potato Conference in Caribou, Maine. Visiting with growers in northern Maine always brings farm safety to the forefront of discussions. Aroostook County is predominantly large-scale commercial potato farms - much different than the smaller diversified farms in southern Maine. At this event, staff shared information on tractor and PTO safety, PPE, and adaptive tools and devices.
