VT AgrAbility and Farmer Veteran Coalition members at VT Farm ShowVermont AgrAbility was part of the Vermont Farm Show January 26-28 at the Expo Center in Essex Junction, Vermont. The show was attended by approximately 5000 people. The VT AgrAbility booth was a joint effort with the Vermont Health Task Force where heart rate and glucosamine testing was offered, as was a self-examination sun damage machine people could use to examine the damage done to their face by the sun.

VT AgrAbility farmer with bale un-rollerVermont AgrAbility recently worked with a farmer to obtain a bale un-roller. The farmer's physical disability made it very difficult for him to unroll the large round bales by hand in his old-style tie stall barn to feed his cows. VT AgrAbility worked with Voc- Rehab and VCIL's Sue Williams Freedom Fund, as well as with the farmer, to fund the mechanical bale un-roller. (Picture shows the farmer using the machine that is working very nicely in his tie stall barn.)
