Dr. Michael Pate presented "Interagency Collaboration to Equip Farmers and Ranchers with Vocational Rehabilitation and Assistive Technologies" at the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) annual conference July 17-20 in Orlando, Florida. The presentation highlighted the outreach and education efforts AgrAbility of Utah has used to build and sustain collaboration with the Utah State Office of Rehabilitation - Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.

In July, AgrAbility of Utah staff participated in a vendor fair for the Utah State Office of Rehabilitation's (USOR) Southern District office. The purpose of the visit was to present to Utah's Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors about AgrAbility services and the partnership between USOR and AgrAbility of Utah. USOR recently updated their Farm and Ranch Policy that defines the purpose and process for working together to serve clients who work in agriculture. This was one of a series of presentations to USOR offices that gives AgrAbility staff an opportunity to provide training and respond to questions from USOR staff.
