AgrAbility Virginia was honored to co-host, along with Virginia State University, the National AgrAbility 1890s Workshop, which took place August 17-18 at Virginia State University in Petersburg, Virginia. Approximately 45 people were in attendance, coming from Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. Among other great presentations, the workshop was fortunate to have Dr. Aida Balsano and Dr. Steven Thomson, from USDA/NIFA, to talk about AgrAbility, its future, and the encouragement for 1890s universities to submit applications for future AgrAbility grants.
