Georgia

Rebecca Brightwell teaching AgrAbilitySeveral years ago, AgrAbility in Georgia broke ground for a farm to demonstrate universal design concepts and technical solutions in farming. With the influx of the new farmers to the AgrAbility program, primarily veterans, staff saw the need to include educational displays that would assist with many of the basic skills needed to start gardening and farming. The farm was recently rebranded and is now called the Farm & Garden Learning Station. The Master Gardeners of Georgia have joined in to help design UGA Griffin GA campus - host to Master Gardeners of GAand support the new expanded vision. On December 2nd AgrAbility in Georgia hosted a brainstorming session with Master Gardeners, and people came throughout the state to participate in the event. This group will continue to meet to further refine the design ideas. Exciting new design plans are underway. Stay tuned!
