Battleground to Breaking Ground Entrepreneurial Training Program is now taking applicants for the first cohort. The Program is a three-part training program for military veterans and beginning farmers and ranchers. The program goal is to increase the number of veteran beginning farmers and ranchers in Texas through face-to-face and online training, hands on experiential training, and technical guidance, and to enhance the sustainability of Texas' veteran new and beginning farmers and ranchers through an innovative, holistic model for education, training, technical assistance, and outreach.
