Vermont AgrAbility participated in the Vermont Farm Show with the UVM Medical Center, UVM farm safety program, Farm First program, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Vermont. Working through the Vermont Health Task Force to present the Healthy Farmer Healthy Farm program, the three-day event saw a lot of farmers, including farmer veterans, and VT AgrAbility offered a number of blood tests, as well as blood pressure tests, sunscreen, information on melanoma, ramps, and bathroom modifications for the disabled, farm safety literature and demonstrations, and farmer services that include depression counseling, business management, and farm transfer services.
