The Minnesota AgrAbility Project, a state affiliate under the direction of the community partner EquipALife, held its 2017 Annual Fenceline Conference on March 12 and 13th 2017 in St. Cloud, MN. The event brings the Fenceline peer mentors and individuals new to the program together for opportunities for training, networking, and socializing, creating lifelong friendships and natural supports. The theme this year, "What's Your Plan?", included safety training, MN Legislative updates, peer mentor training, estate training, and caregiver training. The biggest highlight of the conference was a personal recorded message to the group from U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar about the state of agriculture both in Minnesota and nationwide.
