Haywood County Progressive Farm Safety Day was held for 5th graders. There were 264 students in attendance. TNAP staff was in charge of the disability awareness center. Students had a chance to see how it felt to have dyslexia, vision/hearing impairment, and the use of a wheelchair. The weather did not cooperate so activities had to be moved into the school. Quote from 5th grader during wheelchair obstacle course: "I got this. I know how to do this. It's harder than I thought."
