Texas AgrAbility has been very productive during the month of May. The Killeen workshop at Central Texas College was hosted on May 20. There were 52 participants in attendance, and 92% of those were veteran and veteran family members. Speakers came from Central Texas College, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, NCAT, USDA NRCS, USDA FSA, USDA Rural Development, and Texas Department of Agriculture. Workshop participants were split into groups based on production area and could network with one another.

Online coursework began May 15 for the Battleground to Breaking Ground Entrepreneurial Training Project. Participants will take a 12-week online course on business and financial planning with resources available to assist them in writing a business plan. One hundred percent of the AgrAbility clients that applied to the Battleground to Breaking Ground Entrepreneurial Training Project were accepted.
