The 2017 annual International Society for Agricultural Safety and Health (ISASH) conference was held in Logan, Utah, June 25-29. AgrAbility of Utah staff attended this training for the agricultural safety and health community and assisted with many of the events. It was a treat to have so many AgrAbility colleagues visit AgrAbility of Utah's 'home base.' For more information about ISASH, go to www.isash.org
In June, AgrAbility of Utah staff began another series of educational presentations to Utah State Office of Rehabilitation (USOR) districts. The purpose of the visits is to update all of Utah's vocational rehabilitation counselors about AgrAbility services and the partnership between USOR and AgrAbility of Utah. These presentations give AgrAbility staff an opportunity to provide training and respond to questions from USOR staff. To date, presentations have been held in Provo (June 20) and South Jordan (June 27), with additional presentations scheduled throughout the summer.
