Mike Lewis, as the new program director, jumped in with both feet and is getting the message about KY AgrAbility out to many people around the state. His most recent trip to the National FFA Convention combined talking to the group about farm safety and the AgrAbility program as well as premiering the film titled "Farmers for America." Mike was one of the farmers featured in this documentary, which speaks to the changing farming and consumer driven markets.

The month of November will have the second of the ag and natural resources agent trainings in western Kentucky. The first one was in Winchester, KY, at the end of October with approximately 100 agents in attendance. These two-day events allow for KY AgrAbility to talk to the individual county agents about possible contacts in their county.
