AgrAbility of Utah staffed a booth at the Utah Center for Assistive Technology Open House on October 26 in Salt Lake City. Staff also gave a presentation about AgrAbility services. This is the twenty-first year UCAT has hosted an open house for vendors and agencies to display technologies, devices, and programs, that can enhance quality of life for people with disabilities.
In October, AgrAbility of Utah staff continued providing educational presentations to Utah State Office of Rehabilitation (USOR) districts with a presentation at the Davis District VR office in Centerville on October 4. The purpose of the visits is to update all of Utah's Vocational Rehabilitation counselors about AgrAbility services and the partnership between USOR and AgrAbility of Utah. These presentations, conducted in partnership with state USOR staff, give AgrAbility of Utah an opportunity to provide training, and respond to questions from USOR counselors and district staff.
